2012 applications for Student Achievement Awards, and Student Volunteer Awards are now available. Please review our criteria.
Honoring student achievement and volunteerism is the purpose of the Auxiliary’s Education Awards Program. Since 1996, the program has provided recognition from the Auxiliary to those students whose outstanding efforts have enabled them to meet challenging standards of excellence.
Annually the Auxiliary awards a total of $13,500 to 7 students:
4 Auxiliary Awards provided to individuals pursuing a post-secondary education in a health care field:
3 Student Volunteer Awards provided to individuals pursuing a post-secondary education and in recognition of their outstanding volunteer service at the Saint John Regional Hospital. These awards have been named in honour of Dr. Deborah Mitton, Peggy Bulmer, and Teresa Casey for their dedicated service to the Auxiliary and to the Saint John Regional Hospital.
